Looking to go a little wild during school break? Zoo New England offers the perfect opportunity to learn about amazing animals while having a blast.

Franklin Park Zoo

Sign-up for February's "Who Eats Who?" Program (Feb. 17-20) and April's "Amazing Adaptations!" Week (April 21 - 24) at Franklin Park Zoo

In the February Program, Who Eats Who?, kids will learn all about food webs and discover the many roles animals can play in their ecosystems. In April, we will learn about Amazing Adaptations and how animals use their physical and behavioral adaptations to help them survive. All vacation week program sessions include a combination of animal encounters, art and crafts, behind-the-scenes tours, games and activities.

  • February and April vacation week programs are held Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • For ages 6-11
  • Member child - $275 per session; Non-member child - $325 per session
  • Sibling discounts and discounts for both sessions are available

Stone Zoo

February 16 - 20

Visit Stone Zoo during February school vacation week and learn more about all of the incredible animals that call the zoo home. From jaguars, cougars (including Blue, the cougar kitten!) and Mexican gray wolves to Canada lynx, bald eagles and many others, visitors can learn all about these amazing animals.

Throughout the week, there will be daily education presentations as well as daily zookeeper encounters at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Several of the Zoo’s animals will receive special enrichment items, including the arctic foxes, bears, snow leopards and North American river otters.
