In celebration of Read Across America Day, we're hosting a special appearance by local author Diana Renn! You're invited to meet the author and enjoy a reading of her new children’s book, The Owl Prowl Mystery, in the Animal Discovery Center. The Owl Prowl Mystery is a sequel to Renn’s first middle grade novel, Trouble at Turtle Pond, and follows the Backyard Rangers’ quest to uncover a mysterious owl trapper. Guests can also participate in fun activities and giveaways that tie into the story.
Book Donation Drive
Share the joy of reading by donating your gently used books! We're collecting books of all reading levels for More Than Words, a local nonprofit that empowers youth through social enterprise. Drop off your books at our collection bin in the Animal Discovery Center and help share the joy of reading.
