Unwind in style while you immerse yourself in the wonders of Stone Zoo, one sip at a time.
Sample locally crafted beer from over a dozen vendors while you explore the world of wildlife, including flamingos, black bears, otters, and more! Beer and food (hot dogs, chips and veggie options upon request) are included with the price of admission.

FAQs
What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes beer and food samples, as well as a chance to see the animals.
How early can I enter the Zoo with my event ticket /Does it include normal zoo admission for the day?
Ales & Tails ticket holders will be able to enter the Zoo at 5:00 p.m. Please be aware that IDs will be checked at the gate.
Ales & Tails tickets do not include regular daytime Zoo admission. If you would like to visit the Zoo during normal operating hours, you will need to purchase a regular zoo admission ticket. View rates and hours of operation.
What if I won't be drinking beer? Do I still need to buy a ticket?
Yes, a ticket and an ID are required for everyone attending the event. There is a designated driver discount available for guests who will not be drinking at the event.
Will there be non-alcoholic beverages at the event?
Yes, additional drinks will be available for purchase at the Yukon Creek Cafe and the Trading Post. Complimentary water will also be available throughout the Zoo.
What are the event hours?
5:00-7:30 p.m.
Where do I park?
Parking is free at Stone Zoo! The Zoo’s parking lot is directly in front of the entrance, off of Pond Street.
Are backpacks allowed at the event?
Back packs or personal bags larger than 12"x12" will not be permitted. All bags are subject to search.
What do I wear to the event?
Please dress comfortably for a fun evening at the Zoo – remember the event is rain or shine.
What's the age limit? Do I need an ID?
Ales & Tails is a 21+ event. IDs will be checked at the gate. Children and infants will not be admitted. This is for insurance and liability reasons.
Will the event be held in inclement weather?
Yes, the event is held rain or shine – please make sure you dress comfortably for the weather.
Do I need to bring my own glass?
No. Each guest will be provided with a sampling cup.
Is this event raising money for the Zoo?
Yes! Ales & Tails ticket sales and merchandise sales help us raise money to benefit Zoo New England’s operation and continued growth, its education programs, and conservation initiatives.
Can I receive a refund?
No, ticket sales are final. The event is held rain or shine.
What methods of payment will be taken at the event?
Cash or credit (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Amex) will be taken at the event. Checks may be made out to Zoo New England.
When is last call?
Beer samples will be available until 7:15 p.m.
May I bring an infant or young child with me?
No. Absolutely no one under 21 years of age is allowed at Ales & Tails. This is for insurance and liability reasons.
