April 26, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Celebrate our fantastically feathered friends for World Flamingo Day! Put on your best pink and join the fun—guests are encouraged to dress in flamingo-inspired style. 🦩
Included with general Zoo admission. No additional purchase or reservation is required for Zoo members. Event takes place rain or shine!
Join our educators throughout the day for special chats and experiences highlighting our flamingos and vibrant animals that can be found along the Caribbean Coast, including sloths, bush dogs and cougars. Learn about their unique adaptations, the habitats they call home, and the conservation efforts helping to protect them in the wild.
We participate in the Flamingo Species Survival Plan, a cooperative, inter-zoo program coordinated nationally through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. SSPs help ensure the survival of selected species in zoos and aquariums, most of which are threatened or endangered, and enhance conservation of these species in the wild.
