Tree Giveaway

Get ready to grow something amazing this spring! 🌱

We're inviting local residents of all ages to embrace their inner arborist with a free tree sapling giveaway. In partnership with Neighborhood Forest, we're helping expand tree canopy across Dorchester, Roxbury and Greater Boston—one backyard at a time.

Residents can sign up to receive a sapling and pick it up at the Zoo between April 22 – 25, where the Zoo’s horticulture team will be on hand to share simple tips on planting, care, and helping your new tree thrive. Then it’s time to bring your leafy new friend home and watch it grow! 

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or planting your very first tree, it’s a fun way to make a lasting impact for our neighborhoods and the environment.
