Electric Shuttle

During warmer months, our electric shuttle bus offers free, accessible roundtrip service between the Forest Hills MBTA station and the Giraffe Entrance at Franklin Park Zoo. This eco-friendly shuttle takes you on a scenic ride through Franklin Park, making it a convenient and enjoyable way to get to the Zoo!

Bluebikes

Visitors to Franklin Park Zoo can take advantage of VIP parking at the on-site Bluebike station. This offers a seamless, sustainable and hassle-free way to travel. With Bluebikes, riders can rent a bike at one station, enjoy their journey, and conveniently drop it off at another location, making it an ideal option for exploring the city while reducing their carbon footprint.

Bike Racks

We recently received a grant to install new bike racks at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo, accommodating up to 50 bicycles. This initiative expands our sustainable transportation options, and construction of new animal-themed bike racks is currently underway!

EV Charging

As a compliment to our solar canopy project, which generates approximately 700KW annually, Stone Zoo provides an electric vehicle charging station.
