Franklin Park Zoo introduces College Nights at Boston Lights

Attention all college students – it’s time to light up your evenings for less! Experience the magic of Boston Lights at Franklin Park Zoo and take advantage of an exclusive student discount. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays in October, save $7 off your ticket purchase just by showing your current student ID. Take a break from the books and enjoy a memorable experience with friends. Discover themed displays, stroll through enchanting lights and take every opportunity to snap that perfect Instagrammable shot. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy an experience unlike anything else in Boston and see the Zoo in a whole new light – literally!
Discover a mythical land featuring an ice-breathing dragon and other fantastical creatures before you journey to ancient Egypt where you will discover pyramids, a 13- foot sphinx and incredible wildlife. Experience the rich cultural heritage of China through traditional lantern scenes including a 197-foot-long display featuring pagodas, cranes, lotuses and flowers, as well as an 82-foot-long walk-through dragon tunnel.

Getting here:
Shuttle:
Hop on the FREE Zoo shuttle from the orange line. Shuttles run from Forest Hills to the Giraffe Entrance every half hour from 6:00 - 10:30 p.m.
Public transportation:
• Take the Orange Line or Commuter Rail to Ruggles Station, then take the #22, #28, #29 or #45 bus to Franklin Park Zoo.
• Take the Orange Line or Commuter Rail to Forest Hills Station, then take the #16 bus to Franklin Park Zoo.
• Take the Red Line to Andrew Station, then take the #16 bus to Franklin Park Zoo.
Blue Bike:
Biking is the most fun way to get around Boston! Rent a Blue Bike and return it at the station right outside of the Zoo.
Driving:
Franklin Park Zoo offers free parking.
